They're essentially mini Christmas cakes, they're filled with spices and raisins and they literally taste like Christmas. You might like to whip these up on Christmas Day, or if you're Christmas obsessed you may make them in June (haha). Let's get started ♥

Sadly, we are coming to the end of 12 Days Of Sweet As Mae :( It's been hard work for me but I have really enjoyed getting the festive posts together and being creative with Christmassy ideas. Hey guys! It's Day 4 of 12 Days Of Sweet As Mae . . almost half way through already! Anyway, I wanted to post a few bedroom snippets to inspire you guys on some easy decor you could do to your bedroom if you want to make it festive. Most of the things you see will be from The Warehouse, Farmers or Kmart, as they are the best places to buy Christmas home decor. Farmers is a bit more pricey but has amazing wreaths and baubles, but Kmart and the Warehouse are so affordable its crazy! This post will mostly be pictures, so I hope you enjoy it!

Hey guys! I was going to post a November favourites today as well, but I wanted to focus on #12DaysOfSweetAsMae instead. So that will be going up in a few days though, don't worry!Today is the first of December, and that means the very first post of 12 Days of Sweet As Mae! I wanted to kick it off with a Christmas Goals post. I feel like everyone goes through December with certain festive things they really want to accomplish. I also feel like lots of people don't always accomplish those goals. But it's fun anyway! So this week I am just going to leave you with a list of 5 goals I would love to accomplish this December/Christmas.

Hey guys! Today I just wanted tell you some special news . . I have been planning it for a while but I decided to make it a complete surprise for you guys. You probably already know what it is as I have probably called the title what it is haha! Hopefully I haven't built this "special news" up too much but I wanted to tell you guys that I am doing 12 Days of Christmas - blog edition! 

Every other day leading up to the 25th of December, I will be posting a festive, Christmassy blog! As many of you might know I am absolutely obsessed with Christmas - it literally is the most wonderful time of the year! And now that my end of year exams are over I decided I should give you guys something special leading up to Christmas! You can expect recipes, tutorials, Christmas decor, gift ideas . . .but I don't want to spoil it for you guys, so I'll stop there ;) 

In case you haven't worked it out yet, the days I will be posting are: December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, and the 25th - Christmas day (New Zealand Time Zone). I am going to try my absolute best to complete this goal and I hope you enjoy the posts! Hey guys! I am so sorry that I am not posting a blog this week, I am currently studying for my end of year exams and I haven't had time to take photos and write a blog for this week (sad face). 

Hopefully I will be back to blogging next week, but if not I hope you guys understand my circumstance at the moment :) I have a ton of cool blog posts prepared for December and Xmas, so if there's no post next week either you can look forward to that! 

So sorry again for no blog this week, I am trying really hard to get good marks in my exams so I can get a place in the classes I want to get into next year.

Are any of you guys doing exams anytime soon? If so, which ones are you most worried about - I am most worried about maths. Of course.

Hey guys :) This week I wanted to post about a few healthy snacks that I have been loving recently. I find that in Winter/Spring it's more difficult to find healthy snacks that aren't cold or Summer themed, and  I am more likely to come home and have a warm hot chocolate or microwave noodles to fill my appetite. After searching around google and reading some bog posts, I was able to find some healthier snacks that are perfect for cool days. These snacks are low in calories and sugar but still satisfy a sweet tooth and fill you up!

Hey guys :) today I decided to post a little tutorial on a pretty Spring-themed nail art design! 

I love nail art! I've been painting my nails like a canvas for as long as I can remember, and I adore trying out new nail art designs. I have seen designs similar to this one everywhere lately, and I have been wanting to try this design out for a while.
