The Beauty Wishlist: Blushes // Sweet As Mae

June 09, 2016

Hello Sweeties! Since I'm going to the states next month (3 weeks from now - Much excitement!) I've been getting together lists of products I really want to purchase that are either too expensive or not easily available in NZ.

Which is a ton of high end brands that offer stunning products. Today I'm going to share 5 blushes I would love to buy while I'm in the states :)

These blushes look amazing! I have heard raving reviews about these for years and have been dying to get my hands on one. The shade Glisten looks especially beautifully - it's described as a "shimmering peachy pink" which is a colour that's right up my alley when it comes to blushes. This is one at the top of my list as you cannot purchase Tarte anywhere in NZ.

MAC products are available in NZ now but for ridiculous prices. It's difficult to invest almost $50 NZD on a MAC Blush when they are available for half the price in the US. Peaches is a shade I've had my eye on for months. I find peach blushes really compliment my fair skin because they give a nice natural flush and bring a little warmth to my skin. MAC Peaches is a pure peach and I feel like it's a staple shade I need in my collection!

This one is crazy pricey even in the US, but it's such a beautiful product. I've seen so many beauty bloggers and youtubers using this and the finish is stunning! Ethereal Glow is the shade on my list - it's a lovely cool toned pink which is another perfect shade for fair skinned girls. Since fair skin tones natural blush colour is a pale pink, these sort of shades will look really natural on fair skin. Maybe too much of a splurge, but blushes are one of my fave makeup products and they last a long time so I'm tempted!

BENEFIT LIQUID BLUSH DANDELION DEW USD $28

I love liquid/cream blushes, I feel like they give a finish like no other. They sink into the skin so beautifully and with the right formula look super natural. This cream blush is a beautiful baby pink and to be perfectly honest I do have a lack of baby pinks in my blush collection. Plus it's quite a good price for a whole oz.

This is the only drugstore blush on my list, only because most popular drugstore blushes are readily available and not too pricey in NZ. Milani blushes are highly rated and Luminoso is a must for so many beauty bloggers. All the shades look beautiful and since they're so affordable I'll probably buy a couple, but Luminoso is one I've really been wanting.

What blushes are on your beauty wishlist?
