The Liebster Award // Sweet As Mae

Hello everyone! For this weeks post I have some VERY exciting news - I was nominated for a Liebster award - TWICE! I never knew what a Liebster award was, but I did some research and it's basically an award for new and upcoming bloggers. Two lovely girls nominated me, Rose from Kisses, Rose and Bella from Belliary.
You get nominated via comments or emails, and then you have to answer 11 questions that the person who nominated you asks. The person who nominated you should have a post of their blog which says the 11 questions they want you to answer. Here are my questions from Rose:
1. What is your favourite season?
My favourite season would probably be Summer, I love all seasons but I'm a water baby and I love Summer clothing too.
2. What was your least favourite age to be?
Probably 13, because I just started going through puberty and had lots of drama and crazy emotions - can any other girls here relate?
3. If you could learn a new language, what would it be?
French, because I think it sounds so beautiful and plus, who doesn't love the Eiffel tower and croissants? Hahaha!
4. What shop do you buy most of your clothes from?
I buy most of my clothes from Glassons :)
5. Whats your favourite board game?
My favourite board game would have to be Articulate, it's kind of like charades but you have a board and cards and instead of acting the thing out, you have to explain it verbally. Sounds weird but it is actually so much fun!
6. Why do you blog?
I blog because it makes me happy. Really. It's such a nice way for me to just be myself and relax. If I'm ever having a bad day my blog is like my escape because I can always count on you guys to leave a friendly comment or even just a page view. Plus I just love being able to share my thoughts and opinions with people who have the same interests as me, and enjoy hearing me talk about the things I'm interested in. I feel like my blog is one big family where we all love talking about the same fun stuff ahaha!
7. What was the first thing you did this morning when you woke up?
Not gonna lie. I played the new Candy Crush, Jelly Saga. Oops.
8. What was the best holiday you ever went on?
When I went to Sydney with my mum in 2014. It was so much fun spending time with her and I just had a lovely time shopping and sightseeing, Sydney is a beaut by the way!
9. If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be?
At my best friends house, with her cousins, dogs and using her deep fryer. Don't ask ahaha!
10. Do you have any pets?
I have a black miniature poodle and her name is Cilla, I love her almost more than anything else in the world. She is just so cute and I'm an animal lover so she's like my little baby ♥
11. Do you play any sports?
I dance everyday, I love it so much and it's one of my passions.
Here are my questions from Bella:
1. What is your opinion on anime?
I think the it's very clever and I respect the talent that goes into it, but I have to be honest here - it does annoy me a little if I watch it for too long!
2. What is your favourite food?
Chocolate. Hands down. Nothing more to be said.
3. A funny childhood story?
Once I was in the supermarket with my brother and mum (I would've been about 5, my brother 7), and we walked down the aisle with the eggs. My mum had already gone to another aisle but we stayed to look in the egg cartons. Then my brother goes "Wow, look, this egg feels kinda squishy!". So I took the egg out of his hands and squeezed it really hard. Of course the egg exploded all over me and my brother. We shoved the egg back into the cartoon and put our hands behind our backs so my mum wouldn't know. I remember as soon as we got home we sprinted to the bathroom to wash our hands hahaha! I just find that so funny, and my mum never even found out!
4. Have a crush? Please do tell!
Kind of. There's this guy and we're really good friends, I know he likes me (he told my friend and she told me) and I kind of like him but I'm not sure yet. If not, Channing Tatum is always a go to!
5. Have you ever experienced love?
This is a hard one. I was absolutely "in love" with this guy in year 7, I just liked him so so so much, he was so nice and funny and really good looking. I remember the next year he wasn't in my class and I cried because I was so sad! So I feel like I might have, but I'm not positive.
6. Do you enjoy the outdoors?
Yes, I love them!
7. What is one place you would love to visit if you had the chance to?
London. Oxford Street Lush, the London Eye? Sounds good to me!
8. Can you cook? If so, what can you make?
I'm not the best at cooking, but I love baking. My faves to bake are cupcakes and cinnamon twists.
9. Any siblings?
I have a total of 5 siblings, three brothers and two sisters. I'm the youngest and two of my brothers are half brothers, and one of my sisters is a half sister. So technically I have two real siblings, but I still count my halfs because I love them so so much!
10. What inspired you to blog?
Many things inspired me to blog, but first and foremost was Zoella. I just adore her, she is my idol and her beautiful blog and amazing youtube channel inspired me to give it a go because I knew I would love it, and she gave me that extra bit of confidence.
11. What is your favourite Disney Movie?
I actually cannot pick. I love every Disney movie and know the script of most. Don't judge, we all love Disney! I have to say though, Inside Out is my favourite of the recent Disney movies. It was such a good film; but I cried ahaha!
